Why join?

James Crawford is an equine vet and breeder who used to help about 1,000 breeders a year in the UK, Ireland and often in Europe, with purchase, supply and shipping of semen. He no longer sells semen or takes any commission for sales.

Now, for a seasonal or annual subscription, you can use James and a network of European riders and breeders, for discussion, advice and pointers on stallion choice, with the advantage of total impartiality from stallion owners or agents.

Ask James to delve further into your choices, and the options available around each one. Check for feedback on semen viability, and foals. And join the community with your own feedback, regarding conception and then the foal that is born. With this collective wealth of experience, you can perfect your breeding decisions.

  • Discussion

    Throughout the breeding season, and the year, discuss options and alternatives for stallion choices, with attention to your objectives. These can be commercial or personal; they may concern semen success, or include stallion choice

  • Impartiality

    James and his colleagues are not tied to any stud, semen agency or stallion, and do not profit from your eventual decision. A successful outcome for you is our only objective, and so we can explore all options and not limit suggestions

  • Hive mentality

    We draw on industry discussion and European breeder observation; and also your experiences (good and bad). Advice evolves over seasons and years, including semen success and foal type, based on your and community feedback

Season-only Membership
£150 (+VAT) for 3 months

Season membership gains unlimited discussion through those months of choosing and paying for semen.  From point of joining, you have a 3 month membership, plus option to upgrade to Annual at end of term.  Feedback is invited throughout the year

Annual Membership
£175 (+VAT) for a full year

Annual Membership gives access to stallion discussion throughout the year, including those random thoughts after seeing a stallion show on Clipmyhorse in the autumn, or auction results, or noticing a stallion jumping out of season
