Meet James
While I loved working as a vet for many years, I became so involved with sport horse breeding and breeders that I left practice, and bought a semen agency in early 2011.
For four years I worked closely with UK breeders, and European studs, striving to ensure a mare owner bred the foal they hoped for, until I came out of this business when my sons were born.
Now, my day-job revolves around Business Development in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, working with Distributors in the Middle East and Japan.
I remain passionate about mares, bloodlines, and trying to stay both commercial and also diverse in breeding. I value dialogue with breeders, stallion owners, and industry bodies. Frisky Mare exists to be talking to like-minded breeders daily.
